About Me

I’m Beth and I am 23 years of age.

I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome at the age of 12, even though it was obvious from the moment I was born (according to my parents). I also struggle with severe anxiety, making normal tasks, very difficult.

Having a blog has given me confidence in talking about my Aspergers, helping me to accept more of myself. I am also hoping, that others will be able to take something from my blog and think about it, or maybe even learn from it.

Over the years, I have had a lot of help with CBT, which has given me the opportunity to observe myself more and learn new things about myself. I like to think I know a fair amount about Aspergers in girls, having been made aware of how I behaved when I was younger and comparing it to my current self. However, I love hearing about things that I have not yet observed.

Having social anxiety alongside Aspergers has limited my ability to cope with doing a lot of everyday things, which I like to talk about that in my posts.
